RewatchVault is a free, independent archive of The Rewatchables podcast. This page explains what happens to information when you visit.
No accounts
You can read everything without signing up, and we never ask for your name or email address. Only RewatchVault staff can sign in.
Analytics
We count page visits with Fathom Analytics. Fathom does not use cookies and does not store IP addresses.
Cookies and browser storage
The site sets one cookie, a session cookie that protects forms from forgery; staff who sign in get a second one that keeps them signed in. Neither is used for tracking. The games keep your best streak and finished puzzles in your own browser, and that record never leaves your device.
Server logs and error reports
Our host, Render, keeps server logs of each request, such as the IP address, page and time, which we use only to run and protect the site. Sentry, our error tracker, receives a report when a page fails and timing data for a sample of page loads: the page address, browser type and technical details, without IP addresses or cookies.
Other services your browser loads
Some content comes straight from other services, which receive your IP address and browser details under their own privacy policies: archive pages load fonts from Google Fonts, movie posters come from their image hosts (mostly Wikimedia Commons), podcast audio comes from Megaphone when you press play, and episode videos come from YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode when you open one. Links to other sites, such as The Ringer, IMDb and Letterboxd, lead to pages with their own policies.
If you email us at hello@rewatchvault.com, we use your message only to reply to you.
Changes
If any of this changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
